Become A Trainer of Our Community Defense Brigada

Are you an immigrant rights organizer who is interested in sharpening your skills, training neighbors on community defense, and organizing against ICE raids? Through Mijente you can become part of our Community Defense Brigada and help us increase the reach of community defense efforts. As a part of the Community Defense Brigada, you’ll support with leading virtual and in person trainings. 

Interested participants should meet the following criteria: 

• Part of the immigrant rights movement for more than 3 years 
• Familiar/Involved with community and deportation defense organizing and efforts 
• Interested in joining the Community Defense Brigada to become a facilitator/trainer (for virtual and/or in person events)
