North Carolina has been a major site of resistance against agressive immigration raids. Last year, high school teachers made headlines fighting back against ICE raids that targeted their students. Since then, community members from Greensboro, to Hendersonville to Asheville have been organizing and fighting back against la Migra in their communities, even crashing an ICE sponsored picnic for law enforcement at one of the local parks. Now, the fight continues across the state against 287g.
